Can you believe that 2025 has practically (and very rapidly) come and gone? As I pause at the edge of this year, I find myself looking back—counting blessings, recalling lessons, and marveling at the ways God has carried me through every moment.
This year has been one of growth beyond measure. I’ve learned powerful lessons, met incredible people, shared unforgettable moments, and witnessed God’s hand at work in ways, moments, and days that left me in awe. Even in the valleys, when hope felt very far distant, He was faithful. Through both laughter, storms, and chaos, I’ve learned, stretched, and been refined. Truly, gratitude overflows.
Of course, it wasn’t all easy. Life, together with our enemy’s plotting, have a way of wildly distracting us, pulling our gaze from what matters most. But still, through it all — God whispers. He speaks to the heart in stillness, reminding us to tune our ears, to turn away from noise, and to rest in His presence. And when we do, every season becomes sweeter, every day more radiant – and our witness becomes ever more impactful in the world around us.
I’m thankful for His promise to make all things new, for His plan that far surpasses mine, and for the truth that His way is always much, much better.
Anyways….as much as this post is turning into a reflection, it’s really a seed of poetry stirring in my soul – so here goes 🙂
“A new year, fresh grace, same faithful and loving King,
A season wrapped up in hope and everything He’s planned to bring.
I’m stepping in with a smile, His Word in hand,
Trusting His goodness and all He has planned.
He opens new doors, teaches lessons, makes all things new.
He paints the skies with mercies in every hue.
So here’s to laughter, to strong breakthroughs,
To walking this year with Jesus close and in view.
If the road this year gets bumpy, He’ll steady my pace.
If the days ahead get loud, He’ll fill them with His grace.
So I’m looking forward to 2026 – bright, bold, and true,
A year held by God….and a little adventure too.”
To all my readers, I wish you a truly Happy New Year. I pray that it will be filled with laughter, sunshine, endless adventures, precious memories, a walk with God that is stronger and closer than any year prior, and the most special and unexpected blessings – even amidst the wild storms that we know will lie on our paths during the year ahead.
“And He who was seated on the throne said, ‘Behold, I am making ALL things new.’ Also He said, ‘Write this down, for these words are faithful and true.’” Revelation 21:5
“Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold I AM doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.” Isaiah 43: 18, 19
